When you keep lowering the boundary to keep the connection

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Biblical love is patient, truthful, and not self-seeking.

When you keep lowering the boundary to keep the connection. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. You may not control the other person, the timing, the number, the diagnosis, or the outcome. You do control what you agree with and what you bring to Jesus Christ. Love does not require you to ignore wisdom. Jesus Christ can teach you to love people without handing them authority He never gave them. Do the next faithful thing, then stop trying to carry the part that belongs to God.

Which reaction feels automatic here, and what would obedience look like instead?

Jesus Christ, show me what is true in this situation and expose the story I have added to it. Give me wisdom for my part, courage to obey You, and enough trust to leave the outcome in Your hands. Amen.
